We had a good number of boats take advantage of the favorable weather today and head offshore. The first to return from an awesome overnight trip was the crew of the ‘Reel Chaos’. They had 14 longfin tuna, a dolphin, 4 white releases and a blue release. Next was the crew of the ‘Osprey’ returning from the Washington with 5 nice longfins. The ‘Marli’ found success in the Rockpile today catching 11 longfin, 1 yellowfin, and releasing a white marlin. Fishing in the same area was the crew of the ‘Buckshot’ returning with 14 white releases and a blue marlin release. The ‘Cabana’ went to the Baltimore and had 3 white releases and 4 longfin. The ‘C Boys’ also headed to the Baltimore and had 1 longfin, 6 dolphin, and a white release. The ‘Absolute Pleasure’ went to the Norfolk and caught 25 dolphin and also released a white marlin. The ‘Fish On’ crew came from the same area and had 3 mahi as well as 8 white releases. It looks like a few are going again tomorrow but also keeping a keen eye on the weather.
