October 11, 2020

We had a well rounded weekend for October and even though it ended with a rainy cloudy Sunday we did see some really nice fish come back to the dock.  We saw a good number of Swordfish that included a 400 + pounder caught by the crew of the ‘Sea Hag.’  Congrats to Charlie and crew for that exciting catch!  The ‘Reel Chaos’ also went out today and came back with a really nice big eye tuna while also releasing a swordfish.  This is all a good sign in anticipation for next weekend’s 1st Annual Bishop Broadbill Bash.  This event is being held in honor of Rena Bishop, a beloved member of the Ocean City and Sunset Grille team, and her fight against breast cancer.  Proceeds from this tournament are being donated to the Jack Burbage Regional Cancer Care Center in Berlin.  It is a great opportunity for fisherman of all kind to get out there and fish for a good cause, while also having a chance at some nice cash prize money!  For more info on this event follow https://tinyurl.com/yypk5epe for Rules and Entry information or watch our most recent Daily Catch video highlighting details on the tournament!
