It was a beautiful day inshore and offshore today as several boats ventured out in search of fish. Heading to the Washington Canyon today was the ‘Osprey’ catching 9 yellowfin tuna, the ‘Fish On’ catching 3 yellowfin tuna and 1 mahi mahi and the ‘Knot Again’ catching 1 bigeye tuna and 4 yellowfin tuna. Fishing in the Poormans Canyon today was the ‘Marli’ catching 6 yellowfin, the ‘Whiskey Kilo’ 3 yellowfin tuna while releasing 3 more, the ‘Zipper’ catching 9 yellowfin, the ‘New Release’ catching an 89 lb bigeye while also releasing a white marlin, the ‘Boss Hogg’ catching 6 yellowfin tuna and lastly the ‘Troublemaker’ catching 5 yellowfin tuna.
With some bad weather coming in tomorrow, it looks like a lot of our boats will be stuck at the dock. Hopefully they can get back out there Sunday!
