It was a beautiful Sunday on the docks with a good amount of boats out fishing. All captains reported to be fishing in the Poormans Canyon today. Returning back to the dock earlier in the afternoon was the ‘Osprey’ catching 2 bluefin tuna and a Bigeye, along with the ‘Double J’ returning with 2 bluefin tuna. Coming back later in the afternoon was the ‘Pumpin Hard’ catching 2 bluefin tuna and 1 Bigeye, the ‘Marli’ catching 3 bluefin tuna along with a basket full of sea bass and tile fish, the ‘New Release’ caught 15 tilefish while releasing a few bluefin tuna, the ‘Boss Hogg’ catching 3 bluefin tuna along with 3 golden tilefish and a basket full of sea bass and tilefish, the ‘Roncito’ catching 2 bluefin and 1 yellowfin tuna, and lastly the ‘Zipper’ catching 3 bluefin tuna. All captains reported to be fishing in the Poormans Canyon today.
