It was an absolutely gorgeous day here at Sunset Marina with a plethora of boats fishing today. It looks like the Washington Canyon and the Poormans Canyon were the locations of choice for most of our boats venturing out today. Heading to the Poormans Canyon was the ‘Osprey’ catching 4 yellowfin and 4 dolphin, the ‘Marli’ catching 9 yellowfin, 1 dolphin, and 1 white marlin release, the ‘C Boys’ catching 9 yellowfin and 3 dolphin, the ‘Lucky Duck’ catching 16 yellowfin, 3 dolphin, and 1 white marlin release, the ‘Primary Search’ catching 2 yellowfin and 2 dolphin, and lastly the ‘Boss Hogg’ catching 12 yellowfin. Sounds like all around great fishing happening out there in the Poormans. Heading down to the Washington Canyon today was the ‘Double J’ catching 9 yellowfin, 1 dolphin, and 1 white marlin release, the ‘Fish On’ catching 2 yellowfin, 2 dolphin, and 1 white marlin release, the ‘Reel Chaos’ catching 6 yellowfin and 2 dolphin, and finally the ‘Zipper’ catching 4 yellowfin.
It looks like our charter fleet, along with several other boats in the marina, are venturing out for those yellowfin, dolphin, and white marlin tomorrow so stay tuned! It looks like tomorrow is going to be very eventful down on the docks!
