The white marlin are sticking around as several boats returned back to the dock today with a few flags flying. All of the boats fishing out of the marina today ventured to the Poormans Canyon, in anticipation of the white marlin bite that was there yesterday. Returning back to the dock first was the ‘Osprey’ with one white marlin release, followed by the ‘C Boys’ with 6 dolphin and 3 white marlin releases, the ‘Boss Hogg’ with one white marlin and 2 blue marlin releases, the ‘Marli’ with 1 blue and 2 white releases, the ‘Francesca’ with 10 dolphin and 3 white marlin, the ‘Intents’ with one blue marlin release, and lastly the ‘Tighten Up’ who had an incredible day with 7 white marlin releases. The weather is supposed to remain good through the beginning of the week, which hopefully results in riggers full of flags for the fleet!
