It was the final day of the 33rd Annual OC Tuna Tournament, as a lot of boats ventured out in search of the elusive yellowfin and bigeye tuna. After a long wait at the scales, the ‘Big Stick’ shocked the scales weighing in a 195 lb bigeye tuna, as well as a 428 lb stringer. Making the crew the winners of the 33rd Annual Ocean City Tuna Tournament’s Heaviest Fish! Congrats to Capt. Ronnie Fields and the entire crew on a tremendous tournament win.

Returning from the Masseys Canyon today was the ‘Osprey’ catching their limit of 15 yellowfin.

Heading out the Poormans Canyon today was the ‘Primary Search’ catching 19 mahi mahi, the ‘Grande Pez’ catching 3 yellowfin and releasing 1 blue and 2 white marlin, the ‘C-Boys’ releasing 2 white marlin, and lastly the ‘Roll Groove’ catching 2 yellowfin and releasing 2 white marlin.

Venturing out to the Baltimore Canyon today was the ‘Sea Hag’ releasing 1 white marlin, the ‘Point Runner’ catching 15 yellowfin, 1 bigeye tuna, 3 mahi mahi and releasing 1 white marlin, and lastly the ‘Blood Money’ releasing 5 white and 1 blue marlin.
