It was a good day at the marina with many of our boats eager to head out after a few days spent at the docks. They covered a wide range of fishing grounds today with great success. The Baltimore Canyon was one of the popular locations and the first to return was the “Marli” with 1 yellowfin and 4 dolphin. The “Second Chance” had 2 dolphin and a white release, while the “Roll Groove” came back with 3 yellowfin, 2 dolphin, and had 5 white releases. The last two boats fishing in this area were the “Boss Hogg” who caught 3 yellowfin, 6 dolphin, and had 2 white releases and the “Roncito” who returned with 5 dolphin and had a white release. The crew of the “Lucky Duck” fished in the Wilmington Canyon today and returned with 6 dolphin, 3 yellowfin and released 3 white marlin. Fishing alongside them was the “Tara Jessica” who returned with 1 big eye tuna and 3 dolphin. The “Osprey” headed out to the Washington Canyon and returned with 5 yellowfin and also released a white marlin. Finally the crew of the “Max Bet” had a great day in the Jack spot returning with 6 yellowfin, 2 dolphin, and they released 3 white marlin. Fishing is really picking up and just in time for the 32nd annual Ocean City Tuna Tournament. Registration starts tomorrow at the Ocean City Fishing Center and we hope to see you there!
