What was supposed to be a rainy stormy day turned out to be a pretty nice September afternoon. We did have a few boats venture out in search of the September bite, with the Washington Canyon being the place of choice. First back was the crew of the ‘Big Stick’ returning with 6 white releases and a blue marlin release. Next was the crew on the ‘Fish On’ who had 2 white releases followed by the ‘Christine Marie’ with 5 white releases. The crew of the ‘Reel Chaos’ had 2 white releases and behind them we had the ‘Roll Groove’ with 3 white releases. Last to return from the Washington was the Buckshot with 6 white releases. Our only boat in the Poormans was the ‘Marli’ returning with 1 wahoo, one longfin and a white release. Looks like a nice number of boats are going to head out tomorrow to see what they can get before the weather comes in for the weekend.
