It was a beautiful day down at the docks on this wonderful Independence Day! The temperature made for the perfect easy-breezy festive type of atmosphere and all of our patrons seemed to enjoy being able to celebrate their holiday here at Sunset Marina. The pools were packed with lots of families, the in-and out service of the boatel was steady all day, and the sportfishing boats were out looking for the fish. Once again all of our boats that went today were reporting out of the Baltimore Canyon. The “Marli” returned with 7 yellowfin while the team on the “Whisky Kilo” had 3 yellowfin, 3 mahi, and 1 white marlin release. The “Tara Jessica” had 6 yellowfin in the box while the “Cabana” had 9 mahi, 1 blue marlin release, and 4 white marlin releases. Finally we had the crew of the “Boss Hogg” return with 4 white marlin releases. Wherever you are and however you are celebrating, the team here at Sunset Marina wishes you a happy and safe July 4th!
