There were a lot of boats that headed out today with their sights set on catching some nice fish. The Poormans Canyon seemed to be the spot of choice today and boy did we see some nice fish hit the fish cleaning tables today. First we had the crew of the “Shotski” return with 1 white marlin release, a yellowfin tuna and 2 dolphin. The guys on the “Full Service” returned with a massive big eye tuna weighing in at 272 lbs. The “Marli” had a bunch of tile fish and a yellowfin tuna. The team on the “Pachanga” returned with a bunch of dolphin. The crew of the “Zipper” had a yellowfin and a bunch of dolphin. We also saw a ton of activity at the scales today for the first day of the Kids classic tournament. Looks like tomorrow we have a lot more boats headed out for the second day so to all the junior anglers good luck and have fun!!
