There was a flurry of activity on the dock today as preparations were being made by a lot of the crews for the 36th annual Ocean City Tuna Tournament. The boats that went offshore today were mainly fishing out of the Washington Canyon and they were not left disappointed. The guys on the “Big Stick” returned with 3 yellowfin, while the team of the “Boss Hogg” came back with 2 yellowfin and a bigeye tuna. The big eye weighed in at an impressive 245lbs. The crew of the “Marli” had 3 yellowfin and the “C-Boys” had 4 yellowfin. The “Trailer Trash” returned back to the dock with 2 yellowfin and 15 tilefish. Our only boat that fished out of the Norfolk today was the crew of the “Grande Pez” returning with a yellowfin, 2 mahi, and a sailfish release. Registration for the Ocean City Tuna Tournament is tomorrow under the tent at the Ocean City Fishing Center between 3 and 7 pm. Visit https://octunatournament.com/ for more information!
