It was a little quieter down here on the docks today, as the bite started to slow down a bit compared to what we’ve been seeing the last few days.

Fishing in the Poormans Canyon today was the ‘Boss Hogg’ returning to the dock with 2 yellowfin tuna, 30 blue line tile fish, and 1 golden tile fish, the ‘Reel Chaos’ catching 1 yellowfin tuna, the ‘New Release’ catching 3 yellowfin and 10 blue line tile fish, and the ‘Marli’ catching 2 yellowfin tuna.

It was a gorgeous day here in Ocean City, Maryland, allowing a decent amount of our boats to venture out the the fishing grounds. Today our captains reported they ventured to the Washington and Poormans Canyons.

Heading to the Washington Canyon was the ‘Osprey’ catching 2 yellowfin tuna, the ‘Buckshot’ catching 1 yellowfin tuna, the ‘Reel Chaos’ catching 7 yellowfin tuna, the ‘White Lightning’ catching 5 yellowfin tuna, the ‘Zipper’ catching 1 yellowfin, and lastly the ‘Boss Hogg’ with one yellowfin tuna and one white marlin release.

Returning from the Poormans Canyon today was the ‘Roll Groove’ catching 4 yellowfin tuna and the ‘Fish On’ catching an impressive 185 lb bigeye tuna and one yellowfin tuna.

The marina was quite empty today which can only mean one thing.. a lot of boats out fishing! It was a mixed bag today, as captains reported fishing out of both the Washington and the Poormans Canyons.

Returning from the Washington Canyon was the ‘New Release’ catching 3 yellowfin tuna, the ‘Buckshot’ catching 4 yellowfin tuna, the ‘Osprey’ catching 7 yellowfin tuna, the ‘Cabana’ catching 4 yellowfin tuna, the ‘Double J’ catching 1 yellowfin, the ‘C-Boys’ releasing 1 white marlin, the ‘Tighten Up’ catching 4 yellowfin tuna, the ‘Fish On’ catching 3 yellowfin tuna, the ‘Zipper’ catching 8 yellowfin tuna, and lastly the ‘Hydrosphere’ catching 3 yellowfin tuna.

Venturing to the Poormans Canyon today was the ‘Reel Chaos’ releasing 1 white marlin, the ‘Marli’ catching 3 yellowfin tuna, the ‘White Lightning’ catching 2 yellowfin tuna, the ‘Griffin’ catching 1 yellowfin tuna, the ‘Cookie Monster’ catching 4 yellowfin tuna, the ‘Electric Bills’ catching 3 yellowfin tuna, the ‘Boss Hogg’ catching 4 yellowfin and releasing 1 white marlin, and lastly the ‘Bar South’ returning with an impressive 3 white marlin releases, 1 swordfish, 1 yellowfin, and 1 skipjack!

It was another exciting day down at the docks with Big Eye tuna the theme of the day!  We had several boats head out today and return with some nice sized fish. The ‘Roncito’ returned with 12 yellowfin,  and the ‘Osprey’ had 2 big eyes and a yellowfin.  They both were in the Washington Canyon.  The Wilmington Canyon was our most popular spot today.  The crew of the ‘Big Stick’ had 3 Big eye tuna, the heaviest weighing in at 213 lbs and they also released a white marlin!  The ‘Marli’ had 5 yellowfins, and the ‘Reel Chaos’ had 2 yellowfin.  The ‘Boss Hogg’ returned from the Poormans with 9 yellowfin, 11 tile fish, and 7 sea bass.  The ‘White Lightning’ also fished in the Poormans and returned with 2 yellowfin, a 209 lb big eye, and they also released a white marlin.  Finally the crew of the ‘Grande Pez’ reported from the Norfolk today and returned with 6 yellowfin and 2 dolphin.  We had a busy day of fueling and ice deliveries so it appears tomorrow even more boats will be heading out!

It was a bit of a quiet day at the marina with only a few boats choosing to head offshore, while the others used the day to get some maintenance projects done.  Most of the fleet reported to return from the Poorman’s Canyon.  The crew of the ‘Marli’ were the first back to the dock and had 7 nice yellowfin in the box.  The ‘Pumpin Hard’, the ‘Reel Chaos’, and the ‘Zipper’ all returned with 2 yellowfin each in their fish boxes.  The ‘Fish On’ was the only boat to report from the Washington Canyon today returning with 8 yellowfin and 1 dolphin.  The ice orders are steadily rolling in this evening so it appears there will be a good chunk of boats going fishing tomorrow!  Stay tuned!

We had a few boats venture out today, all spreading out down the canyons in search of fish.

Heading to the Poormans Canyon today was the ‘Marli’ catching 8 yellowfin tuna, the ‘Double J’ catching 4 yellowfin tuna, and the ‘Reel Chaos’ catching 2 yellowfin tuna.

Venturing to the Baltimore Canyon was the ‘Osprey’ who caught 2 yellowfin tuna.

The ‘ Buckshot’ and Capt. Gary Stamm went to the Washington Canyon today catching 7 yellowfin tuna.

And lastly the ‘Absolute Pleasure’ who ventured down to the Norfolk Canyon catching 1 yellowfin tuna.

The weather was beautiful today allowing a few of our boats to venture out in search of like out there in the canyons. Today was a mixed bag, as some of our captains reported fishing in the Washington Canyon and some in the Poormans Canyon.

Venturing to the Poormans Canyon was the ‘Pumpin Hard’ returning with 5 yellowfin tuna, the ‘Boss Hogg’ catching 10 yellowfin tuna, and lastly the ‘Marli’ catching 8 yellowfin tuna and 1 mahi mahi.

Heading to the Washington Canyon was the ‘White Lightning’ catching 4 yellowfin tuna, 1 mahi mahi, and they released 2 blue marlin, along with the ‘Fish On’ who released 1 white marlin.

Happy Father’s Day to all those dad’s out there! It was a slick calm day offshore, allowing a good amount of boats to head offshore. The yellowfin and bigeye tunas are still being caught, we even had a few surprise swordfish thrown up on the dock this afternoon!

Fishing out of the Poormans Canyon today was the ‘Osprey’ catching an impressive 3 bigeye and 6 yellowfin tuna, the ‘No Quarter’ catching 1 bigeye tuna and 3 yellowfin, the ‘Gret’s Three J’s’ catching 7 yellowfin and 1 mahi mahi, the ‘Tighten Up’ catching 9 yellowfin tuna, the ‘Pumpin Hard’ catching 5 yellowfin tuna, the ‘Fish On’ catching 4 yellowfin tuna, and lastly the ‘Boss Hogg’ also catching 4 yellowfin tuna.

Venturing out to the Washington Canyon today was the ‘Buckshot’ returning to the dock with 5 yellowfin tuna, the ‘Reel Chaos’ catching 1 bigeye and 18 yellowfin, and lastly the ‘Cabana’ catching 2 yellowfin and 2 swordfish!

80 degrees, sunny, and beautiful weather on a Saturday in June only means one thing… a lot of boats fishing! We had 70 boats fish out of the marina today, returning with a whole bunch of tuna, some dolphin, a few wahoos, and a couple of white and blue marlin releases!

A few boats returning from overnighters were the ‘Gret’s Three J’s’ catching 2 bigeye and 9 yellowfin tuna, as well as the ‘Blood Money’ catching an impressive 24 yellowfin and 1 bigeye tuna.

Captains that reported they were fishing out of the Poormans Canyon was the ‘Cabana’ catching 7 yellowfin and 1 wahoo, the ‘Osprey’ catching 2 yellowfin, the ‘Primary Search’ catching 3 yellowfin tuna and 15 sea bass, the ‘Reel Chaos’ catching 1 bigeye and 4 yellowfin tuna, the ‘Marli’ catching 7 yellowfin tuna and 1 mako shark, the ‘Fish On’ catching 5 yellowfin tuna, the ‘White Lightning’ catching 2 yellowfin tuna and 1 dolphin, the ‘Griffin’ catching 1 bigeye and 1 yellowfin tuna, the ‘Boss Hogg’ catching 9 yellowfin tuna and they released a blue marlin, and lastly the ‘Big Stick’ releasing 3 white marlin.

A few boats reported a bite out of the Baltimore Canyon, a well. Crew returning from there were the ‘Double J’ releasing 1 white marlin, the ‘Sea Hunt’ catching 4 yellowfin tuna, and lastly the ‘Lucky Duck’ catching 5 yellowfin tuna.

It was a gorgeous Friday here in Ocean City, MD, allowing a good amount of boats to head offshore. And when boats started coming back to the dock at 11 am with multiple bigeye and yellowfin, you know it was a good day!

Returning back to the dock first was the ‘Fish On’ catching 3 Bigeye and 5 yellowfin tuna, the ‘Osprey’ catching 1 bigeye and 9 yellowfin, the ‘C-Boys’ catching 3 bigeye and 2 yellowfin tuna, the ‘Fish On’ with 3 bigeye and 5 yellowfin tuna, the ‘Big Stick’ catching 3 bigeye and 4 yellowfin tuna, the ‘White Lightning’ catching 8 yellowfin, the ‘Marli’ catching 1 bigeye and 6 yellowfin tuna, the ‘Reel Chaos’ catching an impressive 3 bigeye tuna and 15 yellowfin tuna, the ‘Zipper’ catching 15 yellowfin, the ‘Pumpin Hard’ catching 3 bigeye and 1 yellowfin, the ‘Double J’ catching 2 yellowfin, and lastly the ‘Magic Moment’ catching a whooping 6 bigeyes! All of our captains reported that there fish were caught in the Poormans Canyon today.

What a difference a day makes!  After a few quiet days of weather keeping the boats stuck at the dock, the weather today allowed the fleet to once again head offshore.  They were not disappointed to find the fish were still biting and we had the wheelbarrows lined up once again!  There was a mix of fishing grounds today with half going to the Poormans.  The first to return was the ‘Double J’ with 6 yellowfin.  The’White Lightning had 14 yellowfin, while the ‘Bar South’ had 12 yellowfin, 1 dolphin and a white release.  The ‘Grande Pez’ returned with 2 yellowfin and a nice big eye and the ‘Pumpin Hard’ returned with 14 yellowfin and 2 white releases.  The other half of the fleet chose to fish in the Wilmington with the first being the crew of the ‘Osprey’ who returned with 16 yellowfin and a white release.  Next up we had the crew of the ‘Reel Chaos’ returning with 6 yellowfin and 14 big eye tuna.  The ‘Blood Money’ had 24 yellowfin and 2 big eyes, the ‘Marli’ had 9 yellowfin and 2 big eyes and finally the ‘Boss Hogg’ had 16 yellowfin and 1 dolphin.  The June fishing continues to be hot so give us a call at 410-213-9600 to book your next charter!

It was another great day at the marina, as our crews returned with more yellowfin and bigeye tuna! Today all of our captains reported their catch from the Poormans Canyon. Returning back to the dock first was the ‘Osprey’ catching 7 yellowfin tuna, followed by the ‘Cabana’ catching 7 yellowfin, the ‘Reel Chaos’ catching an impressive 4 bigeye and 7 yellowfin, the ‘Fish On’ catching 13 yellowfin, the ‘Marli’ catching 8 yellowfin, the ‘Blood Money’ catching 2 bigeye and 4 yellowfin, and lastly the ‘Boss Hogg’ catching 1 bigeye and 8 yellowfin.
