Ocean City is known as the “White Marlin Capital of the World” and its name stayed true when the “Osprey” came back with a mess of flags flying! Capt. Joe kept his crew busy releasing 17 white marlin, 1 blue marlin and put 29 dolphin in the box while fishing in the Poorman’s Canyon. “Buckshot” also had a great day out in the Poorman’s as well releasing 5 white marlin and catching 15 dolphin! Trying to get on the meat down in the Washington was the “Marli” who caught 6 yellowfin, 8 dolphin and released 1 white marlin. “C-Boys” with Capt. Luke was down there as well and he put 36 dolphin in the box while also releasing 1 white marlin.
It looks like more people are itching to head out this weekend after being cooped up since the storm. Hopefully the fishing stays hot and we can have the marlin bite go through the month of September! With many boats catching wind of todays fishing it should be a busy weekend for us down on the docks, so come on by and take advantage of the beautiful weather and awesome sites!
