It has been a beautiful couple of days here at the marina bringing back that September weather we know and love! It has also brought about the September marlin bite just in time for the 46th Annual Challenge Cup! Over the past two days we have seen a lot of boat traffic especially with the tournament boats rolling in. On Wednesday we had several boats out ahead of the tournament trying to see what they could find. The “Billfisher” returned with 8 whites and 2 blue marlin releases, the “Reel One” returned with 6 white releases, the “Christine Marie” had 8 white releases and we also had the “Top Dog” come in with 5 white releases. The crew on the “Sea Hag” had 16 white releases, while the “DA Sea” had 14 white releases and 2 blue marlin realeases. Today for the first day of the cup we had boats from Cape May arrive and their day one totals are: Krazy Salts 4 Whites, Covert Mission 2 Whites and 1 Blue, Viking 82 3 Whites, Quick Raise 2 Whites, Outrage 2 Whites, Canyon Lady 1 White, Rakfin 1 White, and Fishaholic 1 white.
