Happy Memorial Day everyone! The holiday weekend and beautiful weather made a great combination for an excellent day of fishing! The majority of our fleet ventured to the Poor Man’s Canyon today and it sure didn’t disappoint. Returning back to the dock first was the “Quick Draw” with a 146 lb Thresher shark, the “Primary Search” catching 3 bluefin, the “White Lightning” with one under bluefin and an impressive 155 lb over bluefin, the “Lucky Duck” with 2 bluefin, the “Magic Moment” with 2 bluefin, the “Whiskey Kilo” with 2 bluefin and releasing 1 yellowfin, and finally the “Tara Jessica” with 2 bluefin. Venturing alone to the Baltimore Canyon was the “Marli” catching 2 bluefin, while also releasing 23 others.
