It was quite the busy day down on the docks with a lot of boats showing up for the season, as well as a lot of boats out fishing! Venturing to the Poormans Canyon today was the ‘Double J’ catching 11 yellowfin tuna, the ‘Marli’ returning with 14 yellowfin tuna, the ‘Reel Chaos’ catching 12 yellowfin tuna, the ‘Boss Hogg’ catching 11 yellowfin tuna and 1 beautiful mahi mahi, the ‘Big Stick’ catching 4 yellowfin tuna, and the ‘Pumpin Hard’ with 3 yellowfin tuna. The crew on the ‘Hydrosphere’ fished out of the Hambone today and returned with 7 yellowfin tuna. Finally we had the crew on the ‘Slaughterhouse’ fish in the Washington Canyon and return with 6 yellowfin tuna. Tomorrow starts the first day of the marlin club’s small boat tournament so it should be another exciting day tomorrow!
