Another exciting day down on the docks here at the marina as we had several of our boats head offshore looking to catch them up again.  The fish did not let them down.  The majority of our boats went out to the Poorman’s canyon today.  The crew of the “Double J” were the first to come back with 13 yellowfins in the box.  The “Roncito” was the next to return with 5 yellowfin, 1 dolphin and they also released a white marlin.  The crew of the “Zipper”  caught 4 yellowfin and 1 dolphin.  The “Marli” loaded their charter up with 18 yellowfin and 2 dolphin, while the “Lights Out” returned with 12 yellowfin.  The crew of the “Gret’s 3 J’s” had an awesome family day on the boat and returned with 10 yellowfin and 2 dolphin.  Next we had the “Buckshot” who returned with 8 yellowfins and after them was the crew of the “Blood Money” who caught 7 yellowfin and 3 dolphin.  The crew of the “Osprey” once again were the only ones to head to the Norfolk canyon and caught 10 yellowfin and 2 dolphin.  Finally the “Pumpin Hard” were the last back to the docks returning from the Washington Canyon with 14 yellowfin tuna.  Tomorrow kicks off the the first day of the Chesapeake Bay Sport Fishing Association’s first annual Tuna-Fortuna tournament with boats continuing to register there is sure to be a nice turn out.
