With the wind keeping the boats at the docks the past few days, it was nice to see that we had a few boats venture out to see what was biting.   We got word early in the day that the yellowfin bite in the Poorman’s Canyon was hot, and oh boy was it!  The ‘Marli’ was the first back to the dock returning with 18 yellowfin tuna and 10 gaffer dolphin in the box.  Capt Mark Hoos also reported that they released 58 more yellowfin tuna.  The crew of the ‘Blood Money’ was the only other boat we had out today.  Capt Anthony Pino and his crew returned with 15 yellowfin tuna and 3 Big Eye tuna.  Now is the time to give us a call to book your next offshore adventure!

It was another great day at the marina while temperatures were still on the high side there was a nice breeze to keep things tolerable.  There was more activity on the docks today as many of the crews were working on routine maintenance to make sure they are ready to go the next time they head out on the water.  The crew of the Marli had another awesome day returning from the Baltimore with 4 bluefin tuna and 7 dolphin.  Our only other boat the headed out today was the Double J.  They ventured out to the Washington Canyon and brought 7 dolphin and 2 yellowfin back to the docks.
